Mumbai, July 28: Priyanshi Yadav has worked hard to carve out a unique identity in the television industry. Throughout her career, she has taken on various roles and learned something new from each project. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, she spoke about a significant person in her life who has helped her not only become a better artist but also a better human being.
When asked about a role or experience that transformed her as an artist and a person, she shared, “I have learned something new from every show I’ve worked on. Each experience has helped me grow. I would say that working with Rohit Raj Goyal has been one of my best experiences. He taught me to understand my character, portray it naturally, and most importantly, to live the character rather than just perform it.”
The actress emphasized that honesty with one’s character is crucial for any artist. She explained that Rohit Raj Goyal made her realize that while performing a scene, an actor should not only focus on delivering their lines but also feel the emotions of the character. This is what makes acting special.
Priyanshi added, “In the beginning, I often felt nervous before shooting. I would worry about performing a scene and feel anxious. Rohit gave me advice that changed my perspective. He told me that the day I stop feeling nervous and thinking about wanting to improve, believing I know everything, I will no longer be a good artist. An actor should always have the desire to enhance their craft.”
She noted, “This lesson had a significant impact on me. Feeling nervous or anxious about a scene is not wrong; it indicates that the artist takes their work seriously. However, it is essential to manage that fear and bring honesty into one’s acting.”
Currently, Priyanshi Yadav plays the lead role of Vrinda in the ZEE TV show ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta Dil Mein.’ The show’s narrative revolves around three characters—Sanjay, Swati, and Vrinda—whose lives intertwine, leading to a journey filled with relationships, emotions, and numerous ups and downs.
