Prime Minister Modi Pays Homage to Goddess Kalratri on Chaitra Navratri

New Delhi, March 25: On the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri, devotees are honoring Goddess Kalratri, a form of Goddess Durga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended special wishes to the citizens of India on this occasion. He shared a Sanskrit verse on social media, expressing his hope that the blessings of Goddess Kalratri will enrich everyone’s life with courage, determination, and success.

In a post on the platform ‘X’, Prime Minister Modi stated, “I bow to Goddess Kalratri. May everyone’s life be enriched with courage, determination, and success through her blessings.”

He shared a Sanskrit shloka: “Vamapadollasallohalatakantakabhushana. Vardhanmurdhadhvaja krishna kalratri bhayankari.”

The verse praises Goddess Kalratri, describing her as one who is adorned with thorns resembling iron on her left foot, carries a glorious flag on her head, and is known for her fierce form that destroys darkness.

Additionally, BJP National President Nitin Naveen posted on ‘X’ to wish citizens well on the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri. He expressed his hope that Goddess Kalratri would eliminate fear and ignorance from everyone’s life, bestowing courage and security.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also took to ‘X’, stating, “On this auspicious seventh day of Chaitra Navratri, I bow to the feet of Goddess Kalratri, the seventh form of Adi Shakti, and pray that she always blesses her devotees. May all sorrows be removed, and happiness prevail in every home.”

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on ‘X’, “Goddess Kalratri, the seventh form of Adi Shakti, destroys evil and grants auspicious results to her devotees. I pray that her blessings bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and positive energy to the world.”

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the citizens on this sacred occasion of worshipping Goddess Kalratri. He expressed his hope that she would eliminate fear, ignorance, and darkness, filling lives with knowledge, wisdom, courage, and positive energy.
