
New Delhi, March 18: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh starting Thursday. During her trip, she will participate in the installation of the Shri Ram Yantra and inaugurate the ‘Nand Kishore Somani Oncology Block’ at the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Ashram.
Before returning to Delhi, the President will perform the Govardhan Parikrama. Given her anticipated presence, special security measures and arrangements are being implemented.
On March 19, President Murmu will visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. She will conduct rituals and participate in the ‘Shri Ram Yantra Installation’ ceremony at various locations within the temple complex. On March 20, she will inaugurate the ‘Nand Kishore Somani Oncology Block’ at the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Ashram. Before heading back to Delhi, she will perform the Govardhan Parikrama on March 21.
Extensive preparations have been finalized for the special event at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, coinciding with the occasion of Vikram Samvat New Year. The event will commence with traditions from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and special arrangements have been made for devotees and invited guests.
Prior to the President’s visit, preparations were ramped up under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. CDO Krishna Kumar Singh stated that, with the culture department’s efforts, a grand welcome will be organized from the airport to the Ram Temple gate. Approximately 20 cultural stages will be set up along the city’s roads, featuring performances by around 250 artists.
