Key Projects Unveiled During the Ceremony
The Chief Minister detailed the foundation laying of the CSIR-NIIST Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Hub, the inauguration of the new Poojappura Head Post Office building, and the launch of the PM SVANidhi scheme benefiting one lakh street vendors. He noted that under the scheme, beneficiaries were also handed over credit cards and loan cheques to support their businesses.
Additionally, PM Modi flagged off three Amrit India Express trains and a passenger train, which CM Vijayan described as highly significant for Kerala’s connectivity and economic activities.

CM Vijayan expressed the state government’s gratitude to the Prime Minister for approving these projects after persistent efforts.
