PM Modis Tenure Dedicated to Development, Trust, and Public Welfare: Jagdambika Pal

Lucknow, June 14: BJP MP Jagdambika Pal has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure as one focused on development, trust, and public welfare.

In a conversation with reporters on Saturday, Pal stated that when Modi took charge in 2014, India’s economy ranked 11th globally. Today, it has climbed to the fourth position. He emphasized that the country is experiencing rapid development, making India one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

According to Pal, the image of India on the global stage had deteriorated during the Congress rule. At that time, many believed that policies were not implemented timely and that there was no solid framework for policy formulation, leading to slow development. However, under Modi’s leadership, the pace of development has accelerated, benefiting the populace significantly. He credited these achievements primarily to Modi.

Pal highlighted that post-COVID, India has seen increased Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) under the “Ease of Doing Business” initiative. Notably, investments from Japan and Russia have also surged in India. While countries like the USA, Iran, Ukraine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Israel face tensions, India continues to progress rapidly.

He pointed out that welfare schemes are being launched across the country. The government is providing permanent housing for the poor, and in Uttar Pradesh alone, 81 crore people are receiving free grain. Approximately 9 crore Ayushman cards have been distributed nationwide. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, ₹6,000 crore has been allocated. Additionally, a large number of Jan Dhan accounts are being opened in Uttar Pradesh, showcasing that Modi’s tenure has been marked by achievements.

Pal noted that India has received recognition from around 32 countries, and 3 crore women have been empowered as “Lakhpati Didis.” The Mudra scheme has provided loans amounting to ₹16 lakh crore to the youth. Over 1.5 lakh kilometers of highways have been constructed, and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has exceeded 4 lakh kilometers. In the past 12 years, 165 airports have been established. Furthermore, the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A has integrated Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India, and the practice of Triple Talaq has been abolished. Consequently, Modi has gained respect not only in India but also globally.
