New Delhi, February 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the ‘India AI Impact Summit,’ stating that it showcased India’s remarkable capabilities to the world. He emphasized that the summit marked a turning point in harnessing the power of AI.
In the 131st episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, PM Modi noted, “Mann Ki Baat serves as a strong platform to highlight the achievements of our nation and its people. The recent ‘AI Impact Summit’ in New Delhi is a testament to such accomplishments. Leaders from various countries, industry leaders, innovators, and individuals from the startup sector gathered at Bharat Mandapam for this summit. It has proven to be a pivotal moment in understanding how the world will utilize AI in the future.”
Sharing his experiences, PM Modi mentioned, “I had the opportunity to meet global leaders and tech CEOs at the summit. I showcased numerous innovations to them during the AI summit exhibition.”
He pointed out that two products particularly impressed global leaders. The first was presented at Amul’s booth, demonstrating how AI assists in animal healthcare and how AI assistants help farmers manage their dairy and livestock records.
The Prime Minister further elaborated, “The second product was related to our culture. Leaders from around the world were astonished to see how AI helps preserve our ancient texts and knowledge, adapting them for the current generation.”
During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, PM Modi explained, “The exhibition featured the Sushruta Samhita. The first step showcased how technology enhances the image quality of manuscripts, making them readable. The second step converted this image into machine-readable text.”
Addressing the citizens, PM Modi stated that the summit allowed the world to witness India’s extraordinary capabilities in the AI sector. He also announced the launch of three ‘Made in India’ AI models. This summit has been the largest AI gathering to date, with palpable enthusiasm and excitement among the youth.
