PM Modi Completes 12 Years: Haryana CM Thanks Him for Development Contributions

Chandigarh, June 10: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the completion of 4,399 days in office. In a letter, he expressed gratitude for the various projects initiated in Haryana, referring to it as Modi’s “karma bhoomi” or land of work.

In his letter, Saini wrote, “On the occasion of your 12 years in office, I extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on behalf of Haryana’s nearly 30 million residents. This moment is one of respect and honor for you. Today, you are the longest-serving and most popular Prime Minister in India’s democratic history. Our Haryana has always resolved to see you as Prime Minister. You may recall that on September 15, 2013, you launched your 2014 election campaign at a rally for veterans in Rewari. We are confident that the enthusiasm from that rally and the love for you remain etched in your memory. The people of Haryana have always stood at the forefront of nation-building. Our brave soldiers, hardworking farmers, talented athletes, and dedicated youth have consistently elevated the pride of our nation. Thus, whenever discussions arise about India’s progress, security, respect, and global standing, Haryana’s heart resonates deeply with it.”

Saini further noted, “You have left a mark of good governance by providing homes to all homeless families in Haryana, realizing the dream of smoke-free kitchens for mothers and sisters, offering government assistance to every poor person without discrimination, and ensuring that benefits reach eligible individuals directly through digital technology. This legacy will be remembered by future generations.”

Addressing the Prime Minister, Saini emphasized that Haryana has always been Modi’s workplace. He mentioned that Modi has visited Haryana 17 times as Prime Minister, showering love and announcing significant projects each time. While it is impossible to list all the projects in this letter, he highlighted that Modi has provided 22 national highways spanning 1,390 kilometers, connecting every district in the state.

Haryana is known for its hardworking farmers. Under the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme, the state has received ₹9,888 crores, setting a new benchmark in public service. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has benefited 20.17 lakh farmers with ₹7,562 crores. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has provided free gas connections to 15 lakh women, with 2.18 lakh women now becoming lakhpati didis. The Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu scheme has offered free treatment worth ₹4,148 crores to over 27 lakh individuals. Additionally, the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana has provided free rations to 1.57 crore people, and the PM Awas Yojana has delivered permanent homes to 1.56 lakh poor families.

The Chief Minister concluded, “A leader’s identity is not defined solely by their decisions but also by their personality, work ethic, and values. Your discipline, tireless effort, simplicity, and complete dedication to the nation serve as an inspiration to millions. Today, you hold a unique position as the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s democratic history. We, the people of Haryana, feel honored to express our respect and gratitude, adhering to the timeless tradition of Karmaṇyevādhikāraḥ te mā phaleṣu kadācana.”
