New Delhi, March 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has delivered an inspiring message to the nation following the Indian cricket team’s victory in the ICC T20 World Cup. He emphasized that determination, patience, and self-confidence are the keys to success in life.
On Monday, Modi took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express his thoughts, stating, “By winning the T20 Cricket World Cup, Team India has proven that the combination of determination, patience, and self-confidence is the mantra for success in life. This victory also reminds us that hard work in the right direction can achieve any goal.”
In his message, he shared a ‘Sanskrit Subhashitam’ that reads, “A person who desires progress in life must strive continuously and with determination. Persistent effort, done patiently, undoubtedly opens the path to success.”
Late at night, PM Modi posted again to congratulate the team, saying, “Champions! Congratulations to the Indian team for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. This remarkable victory showcases exceptional skills, determination, and teamwork. They displayed tremendous patience throughout the tournament. This win has filled every Indian heart with pride and joy. Well done, Team India.”
It is noteworthy that Team India clinched the T20 World Cup title in 2026. In the final match held at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the Indian team defeated New Zealand by 96 runs. This victory marks India’s third T20 World Cup title, making them the first country to win the tournament on home soil. Chasing a massive target of 256 runs set by India, New Zealand was bowled out for 159 runs in just 19 overs.
