New Delhi, August 23: On National Space Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the citizens of India. He urged everyone to dream big, innovate more, and push beyond existing boundaries. Modi emphasized that with the tricolor in hand, the vastness of space, and the dreams of 1.4 billion citizens, we share a collective resolve.
In a message shared on the social media platform X, he stated, “Happy National Space Day. Let us dream bigger, create more innovations, and cross new frontiers.”
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also released a video. He remarked, “I mentioned in Ayodhya that this marks the beginning of a new era. In this new phase, India is continuously expanding its presence in the global order, which is evident in our space program. Together, we have committed to making India a developed nation by 2047, and the space sector will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.”
He added, “Today, Gen-Z engineers, designers, coders, and scientists are developing new technologies. Whether it’s propulsion systems, composite materials, rocket stages, or satellite platforms, India’s youth are working in fields that were unimaginable just a few years ago.”
The Prime Minister highlighted, “India’s private space talent is gaining recognition worldwide. Today, India’s space sector is becoming an attractive destination for global investors. The success of ISRO inspires many children to aspire to become scientists.”
He concluded, “The rocket countdown motivates millions of children. Every household has an aspiring aeronautical engineer who dreams of becoming an engineer or scientist like you. With the tricolor in hand, the vastness of space, and the dreams of 1.4 billion citizens, that is our collective resolve.”
