This rally marked PM Modi’s first public meeting after the Bengali New Year and coincided with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. He wished for the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi to shower upon all citizens. He noted the significance of holding the rally in this temple city, emphasizing that the crowds at his events in Bengal are growing larger, breaking previous records. This enthusiasm reflects the people’s discontent with the current state government.

PM Modi asserted that Bengal has recognized its situation and is determined to change it. He acknowledged the significant presence of women at the rally, stating that the BJP is synonymous with women’s empowerment and safety. He emphasized the need for a broader role for daughters in a developed India, while criticizing the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for betraying the women of Bengal in Parliament.

The Prime Minister targeted the TMC, stating that while the world honors President Droupadi Murmu, the TMC disrespects her. He recalled how the TMC’s actions during the President’s visit were witnessed nationwide, asserting that Bengal’s women would never forget this disrespect. He accused the TMC of violating laws to benefit infiltrators and of undermining the Constitution.

He promised that a BJP government in Bengal would provide free rations to the poor and financial assistance of up to 1.5 lakh rupees for women to build permanent homes under the PM Awas Yojana. He criticized the current state government for halting the Ayushman Bharat scheme, pledging that women would receive up to five lakh rupees for medical treatment once the BJP is in power.

PM Modi discussed the ‘Maatri Shakti Bharosa Card,’ which would benefit every sister in Bengal with an annual amount of 36,000 rupees. He announced that pregnant women would receive 21,000 rupees in assistance, and an additional 5,000 rupees would be provided by the central government upon childbirth. Furthermore, daughters would receive 50,000 rupees for education.

He declared that the era of fear imposed by the TMC is coming to an end, and a new era of service and trust under the BJP is beginning. He hinted at the upcoming election results on May 4, suggesting that the language of TMC leaders reflects their anxiety.

PM Modi stated that those who have instilled fear in the people of Bengal are now afraid of the roar of the Bengal Tiger, which symbolizes the public’s resolve to remove the current government. He issued a warning to TMC goons and corrupt officials, urging them to surrender by April 29, as no one would escape after May 4.
