Good news for farmers across the country! The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana is expected to be released soon. While an official confirmation from the government is still awaited, reports suggest that the funds may start reaching farmers’ bank accounts by the last week of June or early July 2025.
Farmers are advised to complete their Aadhaar e-KYC process as soon as possible — since payments may get delayed or withheld if the e-KYC is not completed.
What is PM-Kisan Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the Indian government’s most successful welfare schemes aimed at providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.
Farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
So far, the government has successfully distributed 19 installments.
The program helps empower farmers by improving their financial stability and boosting income.
What If My PM-Kisan Payment Gets Stuck?
If you are a beneficiary but haven’t received the latest payment, don’t worry — there is a way to raise your complaint:
Call the PM-Kisan helpline: 011-23381092
Or send an email to: [email protected]
Most delays happen due to issues in bank accounts or incomplete e-KYC verification. So, checking your status and ensuring that all your records are updated is crucial.
e-KYC is Mandatory — How to Complete It
e-KYC is now compulsory for all PM-Kisan beneficiaries to continue receiving payments. Here’s how you can do it:
Online Method:
Visit the official PM-Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in
Click on the ‘eKYC’ option.
Enter your Aadhaar number and proceed.
An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Enter the OTP and complete the verification process.
Offline Method (for those facing online issues):
If you can’t complete e-KYC online, visit your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or State Service Center.
The staff there will assist you in completing the process using biometric verification (fingerprint scan).
This is especially useful for those who may not have an updated mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
