Oppo has introduced a new budget smartphone, the Oppo A6s, in its home market of China. The device offers a large display and a powerful battery at an affordable price point.
The Oppo A6s features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also delivers peak brightness of 1,125 nits for better visibility. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 15 with Oppo’s Color OS 15 custom skin.
To enhance user experience, the A6s includes Oppo’s Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine for smoother performance and improved UI responsiveness. The camera setup comprises a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor on the back, while the front camera offers 16MP for selfies and video calls.
A standout feature is the large 7,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast wired charging and reverse wired charging. The phone also carries an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, making it durable in various conditions.
Additional features include microSD card support for storage expansion, a large vapor cooling chamber, NFC, WiFi 5, dual SIM slots, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and Bluetooth 5.0. The Oppo A6s comes in two colour options: Cappuccino Brown and Ice White.
While Oppo has not yet announced the pricing details, the A6s joins the existing Oppo A6 series lineup. The launch follows shortly after the company unveiled the Oppo A6t Pro model.
