OnePlus Turbo 6 Series Launches in China with Massive 9000mAh Battery

OnePlus has launched its new Turbo 6 series in China, unveiling two smartphones: the OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. Both devices come with a standout feature—a powerful 9000mAh battery that promises extended usage, making them ideal for users seeking long-lasting performance.

OnePlus Turbo 6: High-End Performance and Display

The OnePlus Turbo 6 is the flagship of the series, featuring a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution. It supports a 165Hz variable refresh rate and a 330Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth visuals and responsive touch. The screen is protected by Oppo’s Crystal Shield glass and includes PWM and DC dimming for better eye comfort.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, the Turbo 6 comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It is equipped with an impressive 9000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. Additionally, it features bypass charging technology to reduce heating during gaming sessions.

The camera setup on the Turbo 6 includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor at the back, while the front sports a 16MP selfie camera. The device runs on Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 custom skin and offers several other features such as IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, stereo speakers, dual nano SIM support, NFC, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 6.

OnePlus Turbo 6V: Balanced Specs with Same Battery Power

The Turbo 6V shares the same large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, though it operates at a 144Hz variable refresh rate. It also benefits from PWM and DC dimming and is protected by Oppo’s Crystal Shield glass. The front camera is a 16MP shooter, and the rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

This model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It retains the same 9000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging support. The Turbo 6V also runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, stereo speakers, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and the same comprehensive water and dust resistance ratings as the Turbo 6.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 series is available in multiple colour options—Turbo 6 in Black, Green, and Silver; Turbo 6V in Black, White, and Blue. The pricing for the Turbo 6 ranges from 2,299 Yuan for the 12GB + 256GB variant to 3,099 Yuan for the 16GB + 512GB version.
