Lucknow, June 17: In response to the brutal murder of three elderly family members in Prayagraj, Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Rajbhar stated that Yadav’s silence on such a shocking incident reveals that for him, the identification of crime and criminals is politically motivated. He accused the Samajwadi Party’s ‘PDA’ (People’s Democratic Alliance) of transforming into ‘KDA’ (Killing Democratic Alliance).
Rajbhar expressed his outrage on the social media platform ‘X’, saying, “Dear Akhilesh Yadav, hearing about such a brutal incident in Prayagraj truly shook my heart. I was left speechless for a long time, unable to comprehend how to gather myself. This was not just immense pain for us; it was infuriating. Did the killers not hesitate even once while mercilessly attacking three elderly members of the same OBC (Teli) family? The deceased, Amaravati Devi and Shyamlal, were both 65 years old, while Indrawati was 62. Was their only fault that they did not want their beloved daughter to marry a rogue?”
Rajbhar questioned, “How can one harbor such monstrous thoughts? The accused is your own community member, a ‘Majnu’ worker of yours! What have you made of your Yadavs? You have never respected the elderly; what respect will your killers show?” He added that the UP police are searching for the culprits and urged Yadav to prepare for the usual corruption from middlemen.
He further criticized Yadav for not expressing any condolences, suggesting that he should at least acknowledge that anyone who commits murder deserves severe punishment. Rajbhar accused Yadav of being ashamed of the transformation of his PDA into KDA, which he defined as ‘Killing Democratic Alliance’.
Rajbhar also highlighted alarming statistics from a UP police report covering January to April 2026, which indicated that 2,160 Yadavs and 1,983 Muslims were involved in crimes against Dalits and marginalized communities. He promised to release further detailed statistics soon.
