
New Delhi, April 20: The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has announced a recruitment notification for 250 Assistant Executive (Operation) positions. The vacancies include 109 for Unreserved (UR), 25 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 39 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 42 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 35 for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.
The online application process will commence on April 23 and will close on May 7. Eligible candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms within this timeframe once the application link is activated on the official website.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 40% marks from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other eligibility criteria and required years of experience.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 35 years, calculated as of May 7. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting/screening, a written/computer-based examination, personal interviews, medical tests, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹55,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee based on their category, which is set at ₹500 for General/EWS/OBC applicants. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Divyang/Women candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official NTPC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form. Finally, keep a hard copy of the application for future reference.
