Noida Bus Fire: All Passengers Safe After Blaze on Route to Bihar

Noida, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : A bus traveling from Delhi to Muzaffarpur, Bihar, caught fire in Noida’s Knowledge Park area on October 6. The vehicle, operated by BSS Cool Cool Jamuna Travels, was transporting approximately 32 passengers when the incident occurred.

Reports indicate that smoke began to billow from the bus before flames erupted. Witnesses described hearing loud popping noises, which added to the panic among those nearby. Fortunately, all passengers managed to evacuate safely before the fire spread significantly.

Emergency services, including police and fire brigades, arrived promptly on the scene to extinguish the flames. The fire was intense, with smoke visible from a considerable distance. Sadly, the passengers’ belongings were destroyed in the blaze, causing them significant loss.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Initial assessments suggest that a mechanical failure or short circuit may be responsible, although this has yet to be confirmed. The swift action of the passengers in escaping the bus likely prevented a more severe incident.

Traffic on the nearby expressway was temporarily disrupted as emergency teams worked to control the situation. The bus has since been removed from the road, and further measures are being taken to ensure safety and prevent any recurrence of such incidents.
