New Delhi, March 29: Indresh Kumar, the coordinator of the Muslim National Forum (MNF) and a leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, urged citizens not to spread rumors regarding the supply of oil and gas during the Eid Milan ceremony held in Delhi. He emphasized that the country has no shortage of resources and that people should ignore baseless rumors.

The Eid Milan event took place at the Gandhi Smriti Darshan Satyagraha Mandap in Rajghat, where the national executive meeting of the MNF was also conducted. Discussions covered various pressing issues, including ongoing tensions in West Asia, peace, elections, and global conditions.

Kumar called for an immediate end to the ongoing conflict in West Asia. He noted that while tensions exist in many parts of the world, India should trust its capabilities. He reiterated that the central government has already made it clear that the country is capable of meeting its energy needs.

Experts present at the meeting acknowledged that India has significantly strengthened its energy policy in recent years. By focusing on imports from various countries, strategic storage, and alternative energy, the nation has become more self-reliant. They assured that India can manage any crisis, and there is no need for the public to panic.

Discussing elections, Kumar stressed the importance of maintaining a transparent and secure electoral process to strengthen democracy. He highlighted the need for strict measures against illegal immigrants, stating that discrepancies in voter lists or the electoral process could threaten national unity and security.

Other speakers also shared their thoughts on electoral fairness, national security, and social awareness. They emphasized that ensuring fair elections is not solely the responsibility of political parties but requires participation from all segments of society.

Concerns were raised about the spread of rumors on social media and the increasing social divisions. Speakers pointed out that in today’s digital age, misinformation spreads rapidly, creating confusion and tension in society. They argued that accurate information, dialogue, and awareness are the most effective solutions.

The event was framed as “Eid Diplomacy,” conveying the message that festivals are not just for celebration but also opportunities for dialogue and solutions.

A large number of intellectuals, educators, and social activists from across the country attended the event. They all emphasized the importance of strengthening brotherhood, promoting education, enhancing social awareness, and reinforcing national unity.

It was stated that it is the responsibility of every citizen to keep the country free from riots, violence, and terrorism. The meeting also discussed the goal of a developed India by 2047, highlighting the equal importance of education, health, employment, and social harmony.
