Nitish Kumars Rajya Sabha Nomination Sparks Political Debate in Bihar

Patna, March 5: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha, igniting a wave of political commentary. In this context, Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan shared his thoughts.

Ranjan stated, “Nitish Kumar, the charismatic Chief Minister of Bihar, is a visionary leader. The last two decades in Bihar will be remembered as a transformative period. Whether in infrastructure or other sectors aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens, Nitish Kumar has made significant decisions. These decisions have positioned Bihar on the path to becoming a developed state.”

He added, “Kumar’s transition to the Rajya Sabha will undoubtedly leave a void in Bihar’s leadership. He will always be remembered as the architect of modern Bihar. His new tenure will surely be successful. He has previously played a vital role in the Parliament and has completed a remarkable term in both houses of Bihar’s legislature. Now, the Rajya Sabha will also bear witness to his contributions. His commitment to Bihar’s development has been reaffirmed.”

Ranjan also targeted opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav’s comments about Kumar being ‘hijacked,’ asserting, “No one can hijack Nitish Kumar. His public life spans 50 years. Whenever questions have arisen, he has responded decisively through his actions.”

He concluded, “Nitish Kumar has made his decision and stands firm on it. What others say is their concern. Tejashwi’s baseless statements have led to the downfall of the RJD in the assembly elections.”
