Mumbai, July 20: Singer and actor Nick Jonas reminisced about the moment he proposed to his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, marking the eight-year anniversary of their engagement.
On Sunday night, Nick shared a throwback selfie from their proposal night on his social media account. In the photo, Nick is seen smiling at the camera while Priyanka playfully hides part of her face, showcasing her dazzling engagement ring.
Alongside the image, Nick captioned, “Eight years ago, she said yes,” accompanied by a ring emoji.
Priyanka re-shared Nick’s post, expressing her joy with the comment, “I’m so glad you asked.”
Notably, Nick proposed to Priyanka on July 19, 2018, after closing down an entire Tiffany & Co. store in London to select the perfect engagement ring for her.
Following their engagement, the couple publicly announced their relationship and tied the knot in December 2018 during a lavish ceremony in Jodhpur, which included both Christian and Hindu traditions.
In January 2022, Priyanka and Nick welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy. Recently, Priyanka appeared on “The Jonas Brothers Podcast,” where she shared sweet insights about their relationship.
She mentioned that when Nick is around, she feels completely carefree and happily lets him take charge of responsibilities. Priyanka affectionately calls him “Babu” and considers him her “safe space.”
On the work front, Priyanka is preparing for the release of S.S. Rajamouli’s film “Varanasi,” where she will star alongside Mahesh Babu as the character Mandakini. After celebrating her 44th birthday on July 18, Priyanka spent the occasion in Spain with family and close friends.
