New Tata Punch Facelift Official Teaser Released Ahead of January 13 Launch

Tata Motors has been actively engaged in the testing and development of the Tata Punch Facelift for quite some time. Until now, the company had kept most of the car’s features and design details under wraps, with only limited information available through test mules. However, the release of the first official teaser has now clarified many aspects ahead of the official launch scheduled for 13 January.

The teaser reveals significant design changes in the new Tata Punch Facelift. The most noticeable update is the new DRLs featuring piano black elements, giving the front fascia a sharper and more modern appearance. The polygonal headlamp unit aligns with Tata’s current design language, drawing inspiration from popular SUVs like the Harrier and Safari. Additionally, the front bumper has been redesigned, enhancing the vehicle’s premium and robust look.

The facelift also introduces new alloy wheels, adding a fresh touch to the SUV’s overall style. At the rear, the Punch features redesigned taillights connected by a full-width light strip, a styling cue also inspired by the Harrier and Safari. The vehicle will be available in a new blue colour option, expected to appeal to younger buyers. While detailed information about the cabin is yet to be disclosed, significant interior updates are anticipated.

On the features front, the Tata Punch Facelift is expected to include a large touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the Altroz, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and additional enhancements. The powertrain remains unchanged, with the existing 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 88bhp and 115 Nm of torque. The CNG variant will continue to be offered with 73.5bhp and 103 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.

The first official teaser has generated excitement among digital readers and prospective buyers by providing a clearer picture of the upcoming Tata Punch Facelift’s design and features ahead of its launch on 13 January.
