Auto Desk, New Delhi. The new Renault Duster is gearing up for its comeback in India and is set to launch on January 26, 2026. The SUV was recently spotted during testing, revealing its powerful road presence. The testing model showcases an impressive look that hints at what’s to come.
The new-generation Renault Duster features a sporty profile that makes it look quite stylish. The Renault logo placed on the camouflaged vehicle suggests it has rolled out directly from the Chennai plant for testing purposes. The India-spec Duster is expected to retain most design elements similar to the international version.
The SUV comes with Y-shaped LED DRLs, polygonal headlamps, rugged front bumper, large RENAULT lettering on the front grille (expected), polygonal wheel arches, muscular body cladding, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, and a new alloy wheel design.
At the rear, the SUV gets sporty styling with a notched rear spoiler, raked rear windshield, and rugged bumper. It features Y-shaped taillamps, though the test model was seen with smaller temporary lamps.
One of the biggest surprises revealed in earlier spy shots was the triple-screen dashboard layout. While this feature is not available in the international model, the company might offer this India-exclusive feature considering the growing tech demand in the Indian market, similar to what was seen in the Tata Sierra.
The global market model comes packed with several impressive features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital cluster, wireless smartphone mirroring, dual-zone AC, OTA updates, 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, rear camera, and ESC. Additionally, it also gets an ADAS package.
The new Renault Duster is making its comeback in India as a powerful combination of style, technology, and performance. The test models spotted multiple times before the launch prove that the SUV will arrive with its signature strong and rugged look, staying true to its identity.
