New Developments in Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Suspects Conduct Reconnaissance of Celebrities Homes

Mumbai police reveal suspects in Tiger Shroff firing case conducted reconnaissance on celebrities homes, using auto drivers for information.

Mumbai, October 22 (Daily Kiran) : Investigators in Mumbai are uncovering new details in the firing case involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to sources from the Mumbai Crime Branch, the suspects conducted reconnaissance on the homes of various celebrities prior to the incident.

During questioning, the accused revealed that upon arriving in Mumbai, they stayed at a hotel in Andheri. They would frequently flag down auto rickshaws, claiming to be first-time visitors eager to see the homes of Bollywood stars. Typically, the auto drivers would charge around 1,000 rupees for these trips, which the suspects paid multiple times to scout different celebrities’ residences.

The investigation also indicated that the suspects often searched for celebrities’ addresses on Google, providing this information to the auto drivers to reach their destinations. This method allowed them to gather information about the homes and surrounding areas of various stars. The Crime Branch has confirmed that the three shooters involved had surveyed multiple actor residences.

In light of these revelations, the Crime Branch has added Section 111 of the Indian Penal Code, which pertains to organized crime, to the case. This development raises the likelihood of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) being applied, although the final decision will depend on the investigation’s findings and legal requirements.

Further information has emerged indicating that after the shooting incident, the suspects fled to Surat, where they concealed the firearm. Sources also reported that they hid their mobile phones in the same location. The police are currently verifying this information and are utilizing local assistance in Surat to locate both the firearm and the mobile devices.
