New Delhi, March 18: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a video on social media platform X, claiming the elimination of two terrorist leaders, including Ali Larijani, a top figure in the Revolutionary Guards.
In his post, Netanyahu stated, “I am here with Israel’s Defense Minister, Chief of Staff, the head of Mossad, the Air Force Chief, and our senior commanders. In the last 24 hours, we have eliminated the two most significant terrorist leaders behind this atrocity. This action aims to enable the brave people of Iran to celebrate the fire festival (Nowruz). So, celebrate and happy Nowruz. We are watching from above.”
Earlier, on March 17, Netanyahu announced on X that they had neutralized Ali Larijani, the head of the Revolutionary Guards, a group that effectively governs Iran. He also mentioned the elimination of Gholamreza Soleimani, a commander of the Basij. “These are the individuals terrorizing the public in Iranian cities,” he added.
Netanyahu emphasized that they are weakening this regime to provide the Iranian people with a chance to remove it. He acknowledged that this process would not be immediate or easy, but persistent efforts would allow the people to determine their own fate.
He also noted that this operation supports their American allies in the Gulf. “I discussed this matter with President Trump. There is mutual cooperation between our air force and navy, as well as between myself and President Trump and his staff. We will exert pressure through indirect attacks and direct actions. More shocking developments will emerge soon.”
Netanyahu concluded, “Wars are won through strategies. We will not disclose all our strategies here, but as I mentioned, we have many plans in place.”
