New Delhi, July 24: Amid nationwide protests regarding the NEET-UG paper leak, students who passed the exam have expressed their support for the central government. They assert that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not responsible for the leak. For the first time, action has been taken against those involved in cheating during the NEET exam.
Dhaneshwari Salimat, a student from Hubli, Karnataka, spoke to a news agency, stating, “I passed the NEET exam and achieved a good rank. There are no issues with the NEET exam now. The first NEET exam faced a problem with the question paper leak, but the second exam was conducted smoothly. I have been called for counseling and hope to secure a good course.”
She added, “Some individuals are protesting, alleging corruption in the NEET exam. The NEET board and the central government have called for counseling for admissions. We are preparing for counseling and have faced no issues. For the first time, action has been taken against those involved in cheating during the NEET exam.”
Dhaneshwari emphasized that Prime Minister Modi is taking action against the guilty parties. “Some people, including opposition parties, are blaming the government. This is far from the truth. Prime Minister Modi is not responsible in any way,” she asserted.
Students from Bhopal who took the NEET exam welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement to establish fast-track courts to ensure swift action in paper leak cases.
Student Prabhat remarked, “I took the NEET exam this year and scored 390 marks. The government’s decision to form a fast-track court is excellent. Many students dream of taking the NEET exam and prepare for two to three years. If they do not succeed, they can fall into depression. With the establishment of fast-track courts, swift justice in paper leak cases will help ensure future exams are conducted properly.”
Another student, Priyansh Kushwaha, shared, “I scored 410 marks in this year’s NEET exam. After the first exam, many students were hopeful about passing, but the news of the paper leak and retest shocked many. Many students were not in a position to prepare for the exam again.”
He acknowledged that while the paper leak was unfortunate, the decision to establish fast-track courts is the right move. “We hope to see positive effects from this initiative,” he stated.
Priyanshi, another student, commented on the formation of fast-track courts, saying it is a correct decision by the government as it will ensure prompt action in paper leak cases and hold offenders accountable.
