In a media interaction in Patna, Minister Shrawan Kumar clarified that no final decision has been made regarding the Chief Minister’s role. The ultimate choice will rest with senior leaders of the NDA. His remarks follow Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s decision to enter the Rajya Sabha, coinciding with demands for Nishant Kumar’s appointment as the next Chief Minister.
Several JDU legislators are advocating for Nishant Kumar to take on the Chief Minister role. Minister Shrawan Kumar acknowledged that the demand for Nishant Kumar’s elevation is natural. Regarding the LPG crisis, Minister Shrawan Kumar assured that there is no shortage of gas and that there are no issues reported. He attributed rumors and black marketing to a few individuals engaged in such activities, stating that strict action will be taken against those involved in black marketing.
In response to the opposition’s impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Minister Shrawan Kumar emphasized that the country operates under the Constitution, and no one is permitted to act against the rules.
On the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, Minister Shrawan Kumar mentioned that a meeting was held with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Thursday to guide legislators regarding the elections.
