He noted that Prime Minister Modi has propelled the nation forward with the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
The Republican Party is a constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), and under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the NDA government is working to strengthen the principles of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Athawale mentioned that the central government is acting in accordance with Dr. Ambedkar’s vision. He highlighted that the government is also working towards realizing the river linking project proposed by Ambedkar. Additionally, several memorials dedicated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar have been completed across the country under Modi’s leadership. He assured that the Republican Party will work to bring the central government’s development agenda to every village and spread the message of Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals, the blue flag, and social-economic equality throughout the nation.
He further expressed his gratitude to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Home Minister Amit Shah for providing him the opportunity to serve in the Rajya Sabha for a third term.
On social media platform X, he shared about the meeting, stating, “Today, I had a courtesy meeting with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at my office in Parliament House, New Delhi. We had a meaningful discussion on important topics such as the socio-economic empowerment of the Dalit, marginalized, and backward communities, enhancing agricultural productivity, and strengthening cooperative institutions, all aimed at realizing Baba Saheb’s dream of an egalitarian India. I also conveyed the gratitude of thousands of Republican Party workers to the Honorable Home Minister for his support during the Rajya Sabha elections.”
