Jaipur, August 9: A grand Tricolor March will take place in Jaipur on Sunday, August 9, under the leadership of Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and BJP state president and MP Madan Rathore.
Various patriotic programs will be organized during the event. Participants will carry the national flag and the sounds of “Jana Gana Mana” and “Vande Mataram” will resonate throughout the route. This event is part of the Tricolor Program organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India and the Department of Art, Literature, and Archaeology of the Rajasthan Government, running from August 9 to 17.
According to Jaipur District Collector Sandesh Nayak, the state-level Tricolor March will commence around 9 AM from the Albert Hall Museum. Before the march begins, Union Minister JP Nadda, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and MP Madan Rathore will pay tribute at Amar Jawan Jyoti (the Martyrs’ Memorial) to honor the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The march will start from the exit gate of Ram Niwas Garden, located near Albert Hall, and will conclude at Badi Chaupar, passing through Sanganeeri Gate and Johari Bazaar.
The district administration anticipates around 10,000 participants in this march. Expected attendees include public representatives, administrative and police officials, military personnel, Anganwadi workers, college and school students, NCC cadets, scouts and guides, My Bharat volunteers, athletes, representatives from labor organizations, pensioners, veterans, and members of various NGOs.
The administration has urged citizens to participate in large numbers to make this event a success, celebrating patriotism and national pride.
It is noteworthy that Tricolor Programs will be held across the country from August 9 to 17. The aim is to enhance respect for the national flag, commemorate the spirit of the freedom struggle, and inspire a sense of patriotism among the people.
