Nagpurs Dr. Shruti Neeraj Crowned Mrs. United Nations 2026, Advocates for Womens Empowerment

Nagpur, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : Dr. Shruti Neeraj from Nagpur has made headlines after winning the title of Mrs. United Nations 2026 at an international pageant held in New Delhi. This achievement not only brings pride to her city but also to India as a whole.

Originally scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka, the competition featured participants from numerous countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, and Japan. Dr. Neeraj’s victory also earned her the title of Mrs. United Nations Earth, representing Oman.

In her remarks, Dr. Neeraj highlighted the various aspects of the competition, which included national costume, interview rounds, talent showcases, ramp walks, and Q&A segments. She expressed pride in her national costume, which symbolized the essence of Indian womanhood, incorporating elements like the Indian flag and representations of the Air Force, Navy, and Army.

“My goal was to present the richness of Indian culture,” she stated. “I wanted to illustrate how an Indian woman embodies love and can progress while staying rooted in her values.”

Dr. Neeraj emphasized her pride in representing India on such a significant platform. “It was a tremendous responsibility to bring honor to my country. My family is my greatest strength—my husband, Dr. Neeraj Sawalake, my father, Dr. Ravi Sarde, and my child, who is a national and international champion, inspire me every day.”

Looking ahead, she is now preparing for the Mrs. World and Mrs. Universe competitions, aiming to further elevate the name of both India and Nagpur. “Outer beauty may attract, but inner beauty wins hearts,” she remarked, defining her understanding of true beauty as open-mindedness, a kind heart, and a pure soul.

Dr. Neeraj concluded with an empowering message for women: “Marriage is not the end; it is a garden where two souls bloom together. Cherish your dreams and be the change you wish to see in the world. My main message is to rise, awaken, and not stop until your goals are achieved.”
