Nagarjuna and Tabu Set to Make Cinematic History with Their 100th Film

Mumbai, April 28: Actress Tabu and South cinema superstar Nagarjuna are making a grand return to the big screen after a long hiatus. The duo will star in the film ‘King 100’, marking Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th film.

On Monday, Tabu confirmed the news via her Instagram account. She shared a photo featuring the film’s clapperboard placed on an elegant black chair. In her post, she wrote, “And, we have started King 100 with Nagarjuna and Annapurna Studios.”

Given that this is Nagarjuna’s 100th film, it is poised to be one of the most significant projects of his career. The film is being produced under his own banner, ‘Annapurna Studios’, and will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

Directed by R. Karthik, ‘King 100’ is set to be an action-family drama. As the shooting progresses, more details about the cast and crew are expected to emerge.

The chemistry between Tabu and Nagarjuna has always been a topic of discussion. They first appeared together in the 1996 romantic film ‘Ninne Pelladatha’, which was a massive box office success and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.

The pair reunited in the 1998 comedy ‘Avida Maa Avise’, inspired by the 1940 American film ‘My Favorite Wife’. The story revolves around Vikranth (Nagarjuna) and Archana (Tabu), who marry but later face conflicts.

Their on-screen pairing has always been cherished by audiences. For fans, seeing them together again after so many years is nothing short of a gift.
