Pithampur, February 25: A shocking incident occurred in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, where a minor girl, a 10th-grade student, gave birth in the restroom of an exam center while attempting her board examination.
The event took place on Tuesday at a private school designated as an examination center by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. The girl was in the middle of her math exam when she suddenly complained of severe abdominal pain. She went to the restroom, where she unexpectedly went into labor and delivered a baby boy.

Both the student and her newborn were rushed to the Community Health Center in Pithampur for medical attention. Doctors confirmed that both mother and child are stable and doing well, currently under observation. The girl and her baby were brought to the center around 5 PM, and medical staff reported their condition as normal.
The incident caused panic among students and staff at the center. The police registered a zero FIR at the Pithampur police station and transferred the case to the Betma police jurisdiction in Indore, as the girl resides in Betma and was only at the Pithampur center for her exam.
