Jaipur, March 19: Luxury car brand Mini has officially launched its new Copper S Victory Edition in India. This special edition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Mini Copper S’s historic win at the Monte Carlo Rally in 1965. The model was unveiled at the new dealership, Sanghi Classic, in Jaipur, where it will be available for booking as a completely built unit (CBU) at authorized Mini showrooms across the country.
The new Copper S Victory Edition features a striking Chili Red exterior color, reminiscent of the motorsport hues of the 1960s. This edition combines the classic Monte Carlo Rally theme with modern design elements, including unique graphics, badging, and interior detailing. The company has announced that this model will be available in limited quantities, enhancing its exclusivity and collectible value. It is an ideal choice for Mini enthusiasts and motorsport lovers who seek a blend of performance and heritage.
During the launch, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, stated in an interview, “The new Mini Cooper S Victory Edition pays tribute to the historic win at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, bringing that legendary racing spirit to modern Indian roads. The Mini Cooper S Victory Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 192 horsepower and rapid acceleration. It includes a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sports suspension, advanced braking systems, and various driving modes. The interior boasts premium leather, sports seats, a digital instrument cluster, and Mini’s iconic infotainment system.
