Udaipur, March 9, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the cabin of its next-generation GT 4-Door Coupe, offering the first look at the company’s upcoming electric performance sedan. The model has now shifted completely to an electric platform, making it different from the earlier petrol-powered versions.

Despite the transition to electric power, Mercedes has retained a strong focus on performance and a driver-centric experience inside the cabin. Instead of designing it like a typical lounge-style interior often seen in many electric cars, the company has given it a true sports car cockpit feel. The vehicle is expected to arrive in the market soon.
Driver-Focused Cabin Design
The interior layout has been designed with the driver as the central focus. The dashboard and centre console are slightly angled towards the driver so that all controls remain within easy reach.
The cabin features a three-screen setup. At the centre is a 14-inch touchscreen, accompanied by a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Buyers will also have the option of an additional 14-inch screen for the passenger. All displays run on Mercedes’ new MB.OS software, which shows graphics and performance data designed specifically for AMG models.
Large Rotary Dials on Centre Console
Mercedes has opted for physical controls instead of touch-sensitive buttons to make them easier to operate while driving. The centre console includes three large rotary dials that allow drivers to adjust motor power, cornering settings and traction control directly.
These dials feature lighting that changes colour according to the selected settings, providing immediate visual feedback to the driver. In addition, the steering wheel also includes two small round controllers for quick adjustments.
Premium Comfort and Luxury
The electric coupe also offers ample space for rear passengers. Buyers can choose between two individual rear seats or a three-seat bench layout.
The car features a panoramic glass roof equipped with Sky Control technology, which enhances the premium feel of the cabin. It also comes with a Burmester sound system and special ambient lighting, adding to the luxury experience inside the vehicle.
