He questioned who the scholars are making such claims, stating that an era does not simply come to an end. He emphasized that students of history and political science understand that the conclusion of an era is not as straightforward as flipping a calendar page. Continuity is a significant aspect of politics.
Jha remarked that those harboring such thoughts should recognize that every particle of Bihar’s soil supports progressive politics, not regressive politics. He pointed out that the people should understand this clearly.
He also commented on a post made from Nitish Kumar’s social media handle, coinciding with a change in Bihar’s governor, suggesting that there is clearly some underlying game at play. He noted that while there may be confidentiality in India, it is only temporary, and the truth eventually comes to light.
Regarding the 30-day waiver granted by the U.S. to India for purchasing crude oil from Russia, Jha stated that this question should be directed to the Ministry of Petroleum. He highlighted that opposition parties have been raising this issue, and it is now being validated. He criticized the U.S. for its tone, questioning the meaning of “universal” in the preamble of the Constitution, and expressed shame over how the situation has been handled.
Political rhetoric in Bihar has intensified following Nitish Kumar’s nomination for the Rajya Sabha. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav expressed sympathy for Kumar, acknowledging the challenges he faces. He noted that if they were in Kumar’s position, he might not be experiencing such difficulties, attributing pressure from the BJP as a contributing factor.
