New Delhi, August 28: A significant reshuffle has taken place within the Delhi Police. An order issued from the Police Headquarters at Jai Singh Road has led to the immediate transfer of 18 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP).
This directive was released by ACP Vikramjeet Singh on behalf of the Police Establishment Board. According to the order, eight young IPS officers have received their first postings following their training. These officers belong to the 2023 and 2024 batches.
Among the newly appointed officers, Gaurav Kumar Tripathi (IPS-2023) has been assigned as SDPO/Nand Nagri/NED, Siddharth Singh (IPS-2023) as SDPO/Lajpat Nagar/SED, Tenzin Yangki (IPS-2023) as SDPO/Kalyan Puri/ED, and Shrikesh Kumar Rai (IPS-2023) as SDPO/New Friends Colony/SED.
For the 2024 batch, Gaurav Singh has been appointed as SDPO/Bawana/OND, Harnit Singh Sudan as SDPO/Dabri/DWD, Kirti Yadav as SDPO/CR Park/SD, and Vinod Kumar Meena as SDPO/Jahangirpuri/NWD.
Additionally, ten previously stationed ACPs have also been transferred. Sanjeev Kumar, ACP, has moved from SDPO/Dabri/DWD to ACP/PG Cell/CD; Sakaria Mihir Pravinbhai from SDPO/Lajpat Nagar/SED to ACP/Ops/SED; and Ravi Shankar from SDPO/New Friends Colony/SED to ACP/PG Cell/NDD.
Apoorva Verma has transitioned from SDPO/CR Park/SD to ACP/PG Cell/CD, Joginder Singh from SDPO/Bawana/OND to ACP/Traffic, Yogendra Singh Khokhar from SDPO/Jahangirpuri/NWD to ACP/PG Cell/SED, and Vijay Kumar from SDPO/Nand Nagri/NED to ACP/PCR.
Pawan Kumar has been reassigned from SDPO/Kalyan Puri/ED to SDPO/Vivek Vihar/SHD, Ritu Raj from SDPO/Hauz Khas/SD to SDPO/Palam Airport/IGIA, and Pradeep Kumar Meena from SDPO/Palam Airport/IGIA to SDPO/Hauz Khas/SD.
The order states that all officers must be relieved immediately and report to their new postings, sending compliance reports to headquarters. After their release, their SGR should be recorded or reviewed the same day or the next. Relevant DCPs have been instructed to ensure compliance.
