
Bhopal, June 17: The Madhya Pradesh government has executed a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials to key positions across various departments.
According to orders issued by the General Administration Department, these appointments are effective immediately and will remain in force until further notice.
Mukesh Chand Gupta (1998 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Jail Department, with additional responsibility as a member of the Revenue Board in Gwalior.
Dr. E. Ramesh Kumar (1999 batch), previously overseeing several social welfare departments, is now the Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department. He will also handle additional responsibilities as Relief Commissioner, Rehabilitation Commissioner, Principal Secretary of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department, and Principal Secretary of the Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.
Vivek Kumar Porwal (2000 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Mineral Resources Department.
Sanjay Singh (2005 batch), formerly the Commissioner of Bhopal Division, will now serve as the Secretary of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
Babu Singh Jamod (2006 batch), who was the Commissioner of Rewa Division, has been designated as the Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department.
Deepak Singh (2007 batch) is now the Commissioner-cum-Registrar of Cooperatives.
Alok Kumar Singh (2008 batch) has been appointed as the Inspector General of Registration and Stamp Superintendent.
Amit Tomar (2009 batch) will serve as the Managing Director of the Energy Development Corporation and will also oversee the Renewable Energy Department.
Satendra Singh (2009 batch) has been assigned multiple important roles, including Commissioner-cum-Director of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department, Scheduled Caste Development Commissioner, and Managing Director of the MP State Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation.
Karmveer Sharma (2010 batch) has been appointed as the Commissioner of Bhopal Division.
Lakkar (2010 batch) is now the Commissioner-cum-Director of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, along with additional responsibilities as Secretary of the Food Department.
Dinesh Srivastava (2010 batch) has been appointed as Joint Secretary-cum-Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission.
Shailendra Singh (2010 batch) is the new Commissioner of Rewa Division.
Saurav Kumar Suman (2011 batch) has been appointed as Joint Commissioner-cum-Director of the Horticulture and Food Processing Department.
Neha Marka Singh (2011 batch) has been entrusted with several key responsibilities, including Director of Tribal Area Development Schemes, Managing Director of MAPCET, Managing Director of the Scheduled Tribe Finance and Development Corporation, and Director of the Tribal Research and Development Institute.
Manoj Pushp (2011 batch) is now the Director of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department, with additional responsibilities as the Controller of Food and Drug Administration.
Preeti Jain (2011 batch) has been appointed as Joint Commissioner (Litigation and Coordination) in Indore.
Rohit Singh (2012 batch) is the new Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation and will also serve as Additional Secretary of the School Education Department.
Harshika Singh (2012 batch) has been appointed as Budget Director.
Bharti Jatav Ogre (2012 batch) is now the Additional Secretary of the School Education Department.
Amanbir Singh Bais (2013 batch) has been designated as Joint Commissioner-cum-Additional Commissioner of the Treasury and Accounts Department, along with additional responsibilities as Additional Secretary in the Finance Department.
Kailash Wankhede (2013 batch) is the new Additional Secretary of the Energy Department.
Amar Bahadur Singh (2013 batch) has been appointed as Additional Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department.
Pawan Kumar Jain (2013 batch) is now the Deputy Secretary of the Cooperation Department.
Rani Batad (2014 batch) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Labor Department, with additional responsibilities related to the welfare of construction workers.
Vinay Nigam (2014 batch) is the new Chief Executive Officer of the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission.
Manjusha Vikrant Rai (2016 batch) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department.
Shaili Kanash (2019 batch) is now the Divisional Secretary of the Secondary Education Board in Indore.
Arvind Kumar Shah (2021 batch) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat.
Additionally, senior officials have been assigned extra responsibilities. K.C. Gupta (1992 batch) has been given the additional charge of Agricultural Production Commissioner.
Sonia Meena (2013 batch), Additional Secretary in the Finance Department of the Madhya Pradesh government, has been temporarily assigned the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director of Institutional Finance.
Aniruddha Mukherjee (1993 batch) has been given additional responsibilities as the Environment Commissioner and Director General of ECO in the Environment Department.
Gulshan Bamra (1997 batch) has been assigned the additional charge of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department.
