Mumbai, April 8: The Maharashtra government has announced the transfer of 11 officials as part of a significant reshuffle.
Rahul Ranjan Mahihwal (IAS: 2005), previously the Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Farming Corporation in Pune, has been appointed as the Member Secretary of the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, Pune.
Shweta Singhal (IAS: 2009) has been posted as the Commissioner at Maharashtra Bhavan in New Delhi.
Ruchesh Jaivanshi (IAS: 2009) is now the Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Farming Corporation in Pune.
Kanhuraj Bagte (IAS: 2011) has been assigned as the Joint Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited in Kalyan.
Lakshman Raut (IAS: 2015), Secretary of the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Mumbai, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra State Khadi Village Industries Board, Mumbai.
Geetanjali Bawiskar (IAS: 2015), the Chief Executive Officer of the Khadi Board in Mumbai, will now serve as the Joint Secretary in the Planning Department, Ministry of Mumbai.
Dilip Jagdale (IAS: 2015), Joint Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited in Kalyan, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Ministry of Mumbai.
Pankaj Deore (IAS: 2016) has been appointed as the Secretary of the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Mumbai.
Minal Karanwal (IAS: 2019), Chief Executive Officer of Jalna District Council, will now serve as the Project Director of the Nanaji Deshmukh Agricultural Sanjeevani Project in Mumbai.
Karishma Nair (IAS: 2021), Additional Commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Jalna District Council.
Amit Ranjan (IAS: 2022), Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project in Pandharkawada and Assistant Collector in the Kelapur sub-group of Yavatmal, is now the Additional Commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation.
Earlier, on April 2, the state government had transferred 25 officials.
G. Shrikant (IAS: 2009), Commissioner of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Jal Jeevan Mission in Navi Mumbai.
Dilip Swami (IAS: 2011), Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, has been posted as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola.
Varsha Thakur-Ghuge (IAS: 2011), Collector of Latur, has been appointed as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai.
Deepak Singla (IAS: 2012), Additional Commissioner of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, is now the Commissioner of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Maharashtra, Nagpur.
K. Manjulekshmi (IAS: 2013), Commissioner of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as Additional Municipal Commissioner in Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
Dr. Rajendra Bharud (IAS: 2013), Project Director of the National Higher Education Campaign in Mumbai, has been posted as the Commissioner of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation.
These appointments reflect new responsibilities within the state administration.
