Madhya Pradesh: District Registrar Suspended Amid Negligence Allegations

Mumbai, August 21: In Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister’s Jan Vishwas campaign, aimed at understanding the ground realities of various schemes and addressing public issues, has revealed several shortcomings.

During his visit to Tikamgarh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav suspended the district registrar of the cooperative department due to negligence. Every Friday, the Chief Minister, along with ministers and officials, visits different areas of the state. This time, Chief Minister Yadav was in Tikamgarh.

While addressing complaints from CM Helpline users in Tikamgarh, the Chief Minister took action against District Registrar S.K. Kaushik for his lack of diligence. The suspension followed a complaint regarding the failure of the cooperative bank’s Mawai branch to transfer funds to the nominee’s account after the death of Dayaram Lodhi’s mother, Rani Bai.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that all departmental officials must continuously monitor the implementation of schemes in the field. He insisted that public complaints be resolved effectively and within a stipulated time frame. Proper resolution of complaints specific to the region must also be ensured.

Yadav interacted with complainants Mahesh Prasad Lodhi, Kamlesh Namuliya, Dayaram Lodhi, Kalicharan Singh Rajput, and Hariram Vishwakarma to gather information about their cases. He issued necessary directives to officials for resolving complaints received through the CM Helpline.

He warned that action would be taken against officials and employees showing negligence, while those performing excellently would be recognized and honored. The Chief Minister also discussed necessary actions for the proper operation of various government fair price shops in the district.
