Bhopal, August 24: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state has become the first in the country to implement the ‘Labor Power Code.’ He emphasized that the welfare and happiness of workers are the government’s top priorities.
During a video conference from the Chief Minister’s residence, Yadav stated that the state government is committed to ensuring the respect and safety of workers. Alongside the Labor Power Code, the government has also introduced the ‘Labor Star Rating’ to uphold these values.
Yadav expressed the desire to help workers refine their skills and advance through hard work. To promote self-reliance among workers, the ‘Shramana’ scheme has been launched, connecting them with cooperatives. He noted that workers are laying the foundation for a developed Madhya Pradesh with their hard work. The government is dedicated to alleviating the difficulties faced by workers in all circumstances.
He reassured that while personal crises may lead others to abandon them, the government will always stand by the workers.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the Chief Minister’s Samajik Suraksha Yojana 2.0, which provides financial support during tough times. On the last Monday of Shravan, just before Raksha Bandhan, he transferred ₹203 crore as the 11th installment of assistance under this scheme to eligible beneficiaries in a single click.
Yadav mentioned that the Samajik Suraksha Yojana has supported over 18.4 million workers in the state. He affirmed that the government will remain by their side, especially during challenging times when all other avenues may seem closed. This financial aid brings significant relief during difficult moments.
