Beijing, March 20: Lenovo is once again enhancing its YOGA ecosystem with the launch of new budget-friendly true wireless earbuds. These earbuds are designed to deliver simplicity, connectivity, and quality sound without a hefty price tag.
The newly announced YOGA True Wireless Noise-Cancelling Earbuds were introduced in China on March 18, priced at 599 yuan (approximately $80–85). They are positioned in the mid-range segment. While their design is minimalistic, the emphasis is clearly on everyday usability rather than extravagant aesthetics.
A standout feature is the earbuds’ ability to pair seamlessly with compatible YOGA laptops. Lenovo refers to this as “DNA-level recognition.” While it may sound like marketing jargon, it essentially means the earbuds connect instantly when the case is opened. Additionally, they support dual-device connectivity, allowing users to switch effortlessly between a laptop and a phone.
On the audio front, the earbuds are equipped with a 12.2mm dual-magnetic driver setup, offering a frequency range of 20Hz–20kHz. While these specifications are not groundbreaking, they should suffice for casual listening. Each earbud features three microphones to ensure clear calls with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), while Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reaches up to -40dB.
Battery life is also commendable. With ANC turned off, users can expect about 7 hours of playback per charge, extending to 36 hours with the charging case.
