
New Delhi, March 22: On the occasion of World Water Day, prominent leaders across the nation have urged citizens to commit to conserving this invaluable resource. Through messages on the social media platform ‘X’, they highlighted the importance of water and emphasized the need for collective efforts in its preservation.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla posted on ‘X’, stating, “On World Water Day, let us recognize the true significance of water and pledge to protect it. Every drop of water is precious; let’s not waste it. Water conservation is not just a duty but a promise made to future generations.”
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also shared his thoughts on ‘X’, saying, “This World Water Day, let us commit to conserving water resources. We should channel running water to flow, stop flowing water, and utilize stagnant water for drinking purposes.”
Union Minister and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary wrote on ‘X’, “Water is essential for tomorrow! Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the Jal Jeevan Mission aims to provide clean water to every household, emphasizing ‘Protected Water, Secure Future.’ On this World Water Day, let’s pledge to conserve water and ensure its wise use for future generations.”
