Mumbai, June 21: On the occasion of World Music Day, rapper Badshah shared his heartfelt thoughts about music. Currently serving as a judge on the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol,’ he emphasized that music is not just an art form for him; it is a way of thinking and living.
Badshah stated, “For me, music has never been confined to any boundaries. The true essence of music lies in breaking barriers. Every person and every artist has a unique voice, and each piece of music tells its own story. I believe music connects people, regardless of where they come from or what language they speak. When music is created from the heart, it reaches directly to the hearts of the listeners.”
He further elaborated, “In today’s world, music is not limited to songs or melodies; it is a blend of experiences and emotions. Every artist has their own perspective, and every song reflects a story. World Music Day reminds us that the true beauty of music lies in its diversity. Different genres, various artists, and diverse thoughts together complete the world of music.”
Discussing the ‘Indian Idol’ show, Badshah remarked, “This platform gives singers a new identity. Many talented individuals come here with their dreams and gradually establish their presence across the country. This transformation is special because artists not only get opportunities but also gain confidence. That confidence propels them to larger stages.”
He added, “The greatest feature of this show is that no artist is judged based on their style, language, or background.
