Keralas Ratan U. Kelkar Appointed as Chief Ministers Secretary

Thiruvananthapuram, May 23: The Kerala government has appointed senior IAS officer Dr. Ratan U. Kelkar as the Secretary to the Chief Minister. This significant decision was formalized through an official order from the General Administration Department.

Dr. Kelkar previously served as the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala and Secretary of the Election Department. His new role as Secretary to the Chief Minister marks a notable shift in responsibilities.

The order issued by the General Administration Department states that Dr. Kelkar, an IAS officer from the 2003 batch, will assume his new duties immediately. He is now tasked with responsibilities in the Chief Minister’s office.
