Karnataka, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season.
At the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Karnataka captain Devdutt Padikkal played a match-winning innings, scoring an unbeaten 120 runs off 85 balls. His performance helped Karnataka chase down a target of 250 in just 27.5 overs against Punjab, securing the final quarterfinal spot.
Saurashtra had defeated Chandigarh by an innings and 56 runs, positioning themselves well to claim the last quarterfinal berth from Elite Group B after Madhya Pradesh. However, their hopes depended on Karnataka not winning in Mohali, but Padikkal’s innings dashed those hopes.

In Elite Group C, Bengal topped the table by defeating Haryana in Rohtak, securing their knockout spot. Uttarakhand also qualified for the quarterfinals after an innings and 42-run win over Assam.
In Elite Group D, Mumbai was held to a draw against Delhi. Jammu and Kashmir secured their knockout place as the second-best team from the group.
The quarterfinal matchups are as follows: Jharkhand will face Uttarakhand in Quarterfinal 1, Jammu and Kashmir will take on Madhya Pradesh in Quarterfinal 2, Bengal will play against Andhra Pradesh in Quarterfinal 3, and Mumbai will meet Karnataka in Quarterfinal 4.
