Mumbai, July 28: BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut is once again in the spotlight for her controversial statements. She recently shared a post on social media, targeting protesters. In her Instagram story, Kangana emphasized that if someone speaks publicly, they should be prepared to listen as well. She addressed issues such as the behavior of protesters, viral videos on social media, and damage to public property.
Kangana stated, “The protesters being beaten and insulted by the public on the streets are facing this because of their own filthy and rude reels. They need to understand that when you speak, you must also be ready to listen.”
She continued, “If you damage public property, the same public will retaliate against you. If you have issues with the country and the government and have publicly hurled abuses, then now listen to those who love this country and brought this government to power with their votes, as they also have the right to speak.”
Kangana asserted, “There is no reason to cry now. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If you haven’t understood ’cause and effect’ through your education until now, you will soon… and you will understand it very well.”
This entire situation is linked to the student protests and some viral videos circulating on social media. For several days, Kangana has been sharing her views on this movement. Previously, she had also questioned the language and methods of the protesters. In some posts, she referred to them as “Generation Gutter,” expressing her disgust at the videos of their protests. She wrote, “I have never seen such ugliness together in my entire life. Watching these videos of Gen Z protests is nauseating. The way they speak and the language they use is something I have never encountered before. Every video is disturbing. Who is giving birth to them, and who is raising them?”
