Junior NTR Unveils Intense Teaser for Dragon on His 43rd Birthday

Hyderabad, May 20: South Indian cinema superstar Junior NTR is celebrated as one of the country’s top artists. Following the success of the film ‘RRR,’ his popularity has skyrocketed globally. Fans eagerly await each of his new projects. On Wednesday, Junior NTR celebrated his 43rd birthday and marked the occasion by releasing the first glimpse of his upcoming film ‘Dragon.’ The teaser showcases his powerful and menacing avatar.

The film ‘Dragon’ is directed by the renowned Prashanth Neel. The teaser reveals a mysterious and violent world, with Junior NTR’s character appearing both formidable and fearsome. Reports suggest he will portray Lugar, the top shooter and assassin of the ‘Afghan Trading Company,’ also known as ‘Dragon.’

The video is filled with smoke, fire, weapons, and an atmosphere of tension, hinting at a storyline centered around the global opium trade and the conflicts it incites.

The teaser opens with a voiceover that discusses the British colonial era’s opium cultivation in India, which led to heroin production. The British established control over regions where illicit drugs were heavily cultivated. After their departure, two groups, the ‘Afghan Trading Company’ and the ‘Golden Triangle,’ began vying for dominance in the opium trade, igniting a fierce struggle.

Powerful lines from the teaser include, “When I close my eyes to sleep, I do not see the faces of those I have killed. I only see the faces of the remaining enemies. Do not accidentally appear in my dreams.”

Junior NTR expressed his joy over the positive response to the ‘Dragon’ teaser in an Instagram post. He praised director Prashanth Neel, stating, “The dream of the film ‘Dragon’ was first envisioned by Prashanth Neel, and he deserves all the credit. Seeing the love for the film’s first glimpse has brought smiles to the entire team’s faces. The audience’s reaction has given the team confidence and enthusiasm.”
