July 22 Panchang: Auspicious Worship of Lord Shiva and Vishnu

New Delhi, July 21: The Panchang holds significant importance in Hinduism. Before undertaking any auspicious task, journey, investment, or prayer, it is essential to consult the Panchang. This traditional Hindu calendar is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

On July 22, 2026 (Wednesday), the Shukla Paksha Navami Tithi of the Ashadha month will be observed from 5:16 AM until the next day at 7:03 AM, followed by the Dashami Tithi. Worshipping Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu on this day is considered highly auspicious.

Sunrise will occur at 5:57 AM, and sunset will be at 7:09 PM. The moon will rise at 1:22 PM and set at 12:30 AM. According to the Panchang, on July 22, 2026, the sun will transit through the Pushya Nakshatra, while the moon will remain in the Swati Nakshatra until 11:02 PM, after which it will enter the Vishakha Nakshatra.

On this day, the Harshan Yoga will not be effective; however, the Sadhya Yoga will be in effect until 6:40 PM, followed by a favorable yoga. The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time of the day, will be from 11:45 AM to 12:39 PM. During this period, significant tasks, prayers, or business ventures can be initiated without concern for Rahu Kaal or other inauspicious times.

Rahu Kaal will occur from 12:27 PM to 2:10 PM, Gulika Kaal from 10:44 AM to 12:27 PM, and Yamgand Kaal from 7:19 AM to 9:02 AM. Traditional beliefs advise against starting new ventures during these times, as they are considered inauspicious.

Additionally, on July 22 (Wednesday), the sun will change its zodiac sign, moving from Cancer to its own sign, Leo. On this day, the sun will transit through Cancer, while the moon will travel through Libra. There will be directional obstacles in the north and west. According to astrology and Vastu, it is advisable to avoid traveling in these directions. If travel is unavoidable, specific astrological remedies should be followed before departure.
