New Delhi, June 21: Maharishi Valmiki College of Education (MVC) in New Delhi has announced a recruitment notification for six Assistant Professor positions in the Education Department. The vacancies include three for Unreserved (UR), one for Scheduled Caste (SC), one for Other Backward Class (OBC), and one for Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Interested candidates have only a few hours left to apply.
The online application process for these positions began on May 22 and will close on June 22. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official MVC website before the deadline.
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution or university, along with a Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed/M.A. Education) with at least 55% marks. Additionally, candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors. Preference will be given to those with an M.Phil or Ph.D. in Education.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the screening of applications, evaluation through presentations, and interviews. The selected candidates will receive a salary according to Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the specified application fee online. The fee is set at ₹1500 for Unreserved (UR) candidates and ₹1000 for OBC/EWS/SC/ST and female applicants. Candidates from the PWD category will receive a fee waiver.
