Lucknow, May 23: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the recruitment of 1,182 Sugarcane Supervisor positions under the Sugarcane and Sugar Institute’s control. Eligible citizens across the country can apply online starting July 7, as per the official notification.
The vacancies include 1,000 positions for general selection and 182 for special selection. Among the 1,000 Sugarcane Supervisor positions for general selection, there are 402 unreserved, 210 for Scheduled Castes, 16 for Scheduled Tribes, 272 for Other Backward Classes, and 100 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The 182 positions for special selection include 8 for Scheduled Castes, 18 for Scheduled Tribes, and 156 for Other Backward Classes.
The online application process will commence on July 7 and will close on July 28. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can submit their registration on the commission’s official website once the link is activated. Additionally, a correction window for any errors in the application will be available until August 4.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree in Agricultural Science from a recognized institution or university and hold a CCC certificate issued by the DOEACC Society. Furthermore, all candidates must have a valid PET-2025 scorecard issued by UPSSSC.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is 40 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations. Selection will be based on a written examination and document verification, with selected candidates earning a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.
