Italian Artists Praise PM Modi During Memorable Performance in Rome

Rome, May 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Italy as part of his visit to five countries. He was warmly welcomed by both Indian citizens and locals. During this occasion, Italian artists showcased music, dance, and cultural performances to honor the Prime Minister.

Italian artist Francesco Gherardi shared his experience after performing in front of PM Modi. He noted that the Indian Prime Minister’s presence was incredibly positive. Gherardi mentioned that Modi applauded throughout the performance, encouraging the artists. He also had the opportunity to shake hands and take pictures with the Prime Minister.

Artist Valerio Bruni expressed, “I felt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was genuinely excited. He attentively watched our performance and applauded afterward. I believe he appreciated our presentation.”

Nicolo Melocchi described the experience as unforgettable, stating that performing in front of the Prime Minister with his entire team was fantastic. He mentioned having a brief conversation with Modi. Another artist, Simone Mattiello, said the entire event was delightful, noting that PM Modi felt connected to the artists’ performances.

Leo Vartunni described the atmosphere as filled with energy and enthusiasm, highlighting the evident love the Indian community had for their Prime Minister. He remarked, “There was tremendous energy, and we could feel the affection of the Indian people for PM Modi. It was a fascinating blend of celebration and vitality.”

Martina Argada stated that PM Modi praised the artists’ performance as excellent. She expressed gratitude to the Indian Embassy in Rome for providing the opportunity to perform in front of the Indian Prime Minister. Argada said, “He (PM Modi) told us that the performance was outstanding. We are very thankful to the Indian Embassy in Rome for allowing us to present before the Prime Minister.”

Kathak dancer Rossella Fenelli shared that performing a Kathak piece in honor of PM Modi was an emotional and special experience for her. She expressed hope for a future opportunity to meet Modi in India. Fenelli said, “This was a wonderful experience for me and my friends. We had been waiting for a long time, so our emotions were running high. I consider this a great experience, and I hope we can meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India.”
