iQOO has announced that the iQOO 15R will be launched in India on February 24, 2026. The company describes the upcoming smartphone as a “power flagship in the perfect fit,” highlighting its compact design combined with high-end performance suitable for everyday use.
Before the official launch, several important details about the iQOO 15R have emerged through teasers, benchmark results, and leaks. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a leading 3nm chipset featured in many premium Android phones in 2026.
According to iQOO’s listing on Amazon, the iQOO 15R has achieved an impressive AnTuTu score exceeding 3.5 million, surpassing most Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphones, which typically score around 3.3 million. The company claims a 36% increase in CPU performance and a 46% boost in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capabilities compared to its predecessor.
A recent Geekbench listing identified the device under the model number Vivo I2508 and revealed additional specifications. The phone scored 2,590 in single-core and 8,423 in multi-core tests. It is confirmed to run on Android 16 out of the box and comes with 8GB of RAM, with options for higher RAM and storage variants expected.
Reports suggest that the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo. The phone is likely to sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may also offer IP68 and IP69 certification for water and dust resistance.
Leaked specifications also indicate up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The rear camera setup is expected to feature a 200-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel front camera is anticipated.
While the pricing has not been officially revealed, the iQOO 15R is expected to be priced under Rs. 55,000 (approximately $600). This could position the device as a strong contender against other budget flagship smartphones like the Motorola Signature and Vivo X200T by offering superior performance at an attractive price.
